ABOUT NATIVE PRIMITES
Native Primitives was established in 2010 by artist / craftswoman Angela Parker.
Angela began studying the art of flintknapping in 1998 and found learning the oldest known craft to mankind to be very challenging and fulfilling. In 2004 she was honored on the cover of Chips Magazine and was announced as the top woman flintknapper in the United States. Angela has also received the honor as being the first woman flintknapper to appear in the McLean Design Flintknapping Calendar and to be documented on film through her movie Flintknapping: 100 lbs of Attitude. She has literally taught a thousand people the art of stone tool production.
As a result, Native Primitives is now offering high quality, one of a kind, hand crafted pieces of art that represents a passion for primitive design combined with the beauty of nature. We thank you for visiting our site and welcome you to look through our unique offerings. Our hope is that you find your unique piece of art that brings you just as much happiness as it did to its creator.
